Adding a location
- Go to Locations → New Location.

- Choose the Type.
- Enter the address: street, city, state, postal code and country.
- Add the Latitude and Longitude (see below).
- Optionally add a Site contact and Site phone, link the location to a company in Contacts, and add notes such as dock hours.
Location types
Warehouse, Port, Airport, Depot, Door (a door-to-door address), Customer, Vendor or Other.
Why coordinates matter
Latitude and longitude are optional, but they power several features:
- Maps: route markers on the load, shipment and customer tracking maps.
- Rate shopping: per-km and per-mile rate cards need coordinates on both ends.
- Driver Pay: estimates the distance when a load has no distance entered and no GPS trail.
Getting coordinates: in Google Maps or OpenStreetMap, right-click the spot and copy the two numbers, for example
32.7767, -96.7970. Latitude comes first.Privacy on tracking pages
Customer tracking pages show only the city of each location, never the street address, site contact or notes.
