What is Optrix TMS?

Optrix TMS is a cloud-based Transportation Management System built for freight forwarders, logistics companies, and carriers. It gives your team a single place to manage orders, plan shipments, coordinate drivers and carriers, and handle invoicing.

How it works

Work flows from left to right. Each step builds on the last:

1. A customer places a booking — you create an Order.
2. You arrange transport and create a Shipment linked to that order.
3. Multiple shipments heading the same direction get consolidated into a Load.
4. Once delivered, you generate an Invoice from the order and collect payment.

Quick start

1. Set up your company — go to Settings and fill in your company name, address, and logo.
2. Add your Contacts (customers, vendors, agents) so they are available when creating orders.
3. Add your Carriers and their rate cards if you work with third-party carriers.
4. Save common pickup/delivery addresses in Locations to save time later.
5. Create your first Order by going to Orders → New Order.
6. Create a Shipment from the order to track the movement of goods.
7. When the job is done, generate an Invoice from the order and record payment when received.
